Improv at the Vancouver Playhouse
On November 8, 2026, London’s Austentatious is on tour in Vancouver, bringing improvised Jane Austen comedy to the Vancouver Playhouse.

From London’s West End comes the smash-hit, long-form improv comedy, where the all-star Austentatious cast will improvise a hilarious new Jane Austen novel, inspired entirely by a title from the audience. Performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment, it’s a riotous, razor-sharp show where swooning is guaranteed!
The revolving Austentatious cast include numerous, award-winning performers; who are stars of the UK improv scene, and with a raft of British TV and Radio credits to their name, including Cariad Lloyd (BBC’s QI, BBC’s Inside No.9, Griefcast podcast, BBC’s The Witchfinder), Joseph Morpurgo (BBC’s Radio 4, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee), Rachel Parris (BBC’s The Mash Report, BBC’s Live at the Apollo), Graham Dickson (Netflix’s After Life, BBC’s The Witchfinder) and many more.
Austentatious has been a prominent fixture in the UK for almost fifteen years – it’s an annual favorite of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has been performing to sell-out crowds in London’s West End since 2019.
